Block Walls (Phase 1)

Problem: The water penetrating the blocks has causedthe mortar joints and the reinforcing bars to freeze and break. Also, the foundation walls have hairline cracks due to thermal stresses and movements.

Solution: All exposed exterior blocks and concretewill becovered with DRYVIT®. This material is designed as a barrier wall and is detailed to prevent water from entering the system. This is a complete exterior solution that provides design choices, energy efficiency, weatherability and durability, warranties, and guarantees.

North Side Windows (Phase 1)

Problem: The size, quality, and age of the

single pane windows provide a negligible

amount of insulation. Also, the cost to heat and cool the rooms is greatly increasing. The exterior structure of the windows is deteriorating as well.

Solution: Remove the old windows and frames, reduce the existing opening size, and install new window frames with high-energy thermo pane glass

Coping (Phase 1)

Problem: Water leaks due to snow and ice

buildup in the winter.

Solution: Install aluminum coping with

required blocking over existing concrete coping.

mated Cost: $67,600 Estimated Cost: $50,500 Estimated Cost: $31,800

Brick Veneer (Phase II)

Problem: The water penetrating the mortar

joints has caused them to freeze and expand

in the winter. The mortar joints have deteriorated due to thermal stresses. Also, the brick has shown discoloring and deterioration.

Solution: Re-pointing of all bad brick

mortar joints, replacing any damaged brick, and washing all the brick veneer.

Lintels (Phase II)

Problem: Rust has formed on

the lintels causing potential water damage.

Solution: Scrape loose rust from lintels,

prime, and paint.

Front Entrance (Phase II)

Problem: The canopy roof above the main entrance is leaking. Water on the walkway is causing the mortar joints to freeze and deteriorate. The use of salt and snow melt is causing the mortar joints to deteriorate as well.

Solution: Build a front entrance using brick pavers. All broken sidewalk will be repaired, as well as the canopy roof. All plastic windows will be replaced with high-energy thermo pane stained glass.

stimated Cost: $11,000 Estimated Cost: $2,000 Estimated Cost: $45,400
